  Mission

The mission of the Apostolic Faith Mission-Wings of Faith Branch is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, win souls for the kingdom of Jesus Christ and to prepare the body of Christ.

  vision

upholding the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching of thE word and our practical way of life

  values/beliefs

We believe the entire Bible is the infallible Word of God and we uphold the fundamental teachings of New Testament faith. Our core beliefs are that Jesus saves, heals, baptizes with the Holy Spirit and that he is coming back again.  Below are ten key doctrines that have been pillars of our organization for over one hundred years.

   HISTORY

We are a traditional, Bible-believing church, committed to upholding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our services are a time to worship God through music, be encouraged by testimonies of God working in lives today, and hear practical, relevant, Bible-based sermons.

The Apostolic Faith Mission Church sprang from the Azusa Street Revival of 1906 which took place in Los Angeles California through the initiation of William Joseph Seymour. Our founders John G. Lake and Thomas Hezmalhalch, who were baptized in the Holy Spirit at the Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles moved to South Africa with their families in 1908 and established this ministry.

Since then, the work has grown to include thousands of churches and millions of members on six continents.

Our organization is conservative in nature, following a tradition of Christian holiness practiced by those whom the Holy Spirit descended on at Azusa. We believe the entire Bible is God’s infallible Word and uphold the fundamental teachings of New Testament faith.
